In 2004, Vokes Players established a fund to preserve the charm
and legacy of
Beatrice Herford's Vokes Theatre (built in 1904),
and to establish a capital
improvement fund for future projects.
The initial success of this campaign has made it possible to build
out our second floor office space. On June 29, 2007,
we officially dedicated the Richard G. McKenzie Library.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to each donor, ticket holder and
member of the Vokes Players. Ongoing projects at the theatre will
continue as we upgrade and
maintain the building and grounds and
plot our next steps.
As our theatre proudly celebrates its centennial,
we would like to thank our
